RESEARCH AND INNOVATE (AI)

A new digital payment flow for an EdTech, promoting accessibility and financial education was the challenge.

OUTCOME

Simplify the user's journey, reduce defaults and encourage good financial practices through innovative technological solutions.

EDUCATION REQUIRES THE GREATEST CARE, BECAUSE IT INFLUENCES ALL OF LIFE.
- SENECA -

KEY STAGES

A. Understanding:
Benchmark / Desk Research / Roadmap.

B. Ideation:
Sketching / Architecture / Userflow.

C. Prototyping:
Wireframe / Concept / Navigable prototype.

D. Additional:
UI and DS / Education / Monitoring.

SUPPORT DOCS

A. One Page:
Google Docs with the mental organization of the entire project and its stages.

B. Project Dashboard:

All creative and documentation work in Figma.

C. AI Consulting:

Differentiators: use an AI, GPT Chat, during the immersion process.

SKETCHING

I chose to do this step after consuming some market and trend information. From there, it was divided into 4 steps (Ideation, Scribbleframe, Architecture, Elements and Structure).

BENCH

Analyzing good practices and Design positioning of other market players was the first step chosen for the project.

DESK RESEARCH (CHATGPT)

Contextual research and research into the relationship between business, products, services and society contributes greatly to the enrichment of any project.

ARCHITECTURE

More structural view of the interface. Some adaptations were made from the iterations at each stage, always seeking to simplify navigation using similarity resources and content organization.

ORGANIZATION AND USE CASES

Thinking about use cases (hits, errors, alerts, and especially conversational format) is essential so that the interface and experience offered is always complete and always helps users.

WIREFRAME

I went through 5 variations of different elements, components and architecture tests, until I managed to arrive at a model that left me satisfied with the proposal.

CONCEPT

The focus was to bring a more structural view of the proposed interface, always seeking to simplify navigation using similarity resources and content organization.

NAVIGABLE PROTOTYPE

At this stage, the proposal is to bring an initial reality of the interface, with interactions that the user can go through during their invoice flow.

ALPHA VERSION

Time to bring life and color to the ideas so far. I brought the same “Color Foundations” as those present in the EdTECH DS, and it fit perfectly with what I was expecting for my UI concept.

FUTURE: ITERATION

Just by redesigning the Invoices page, we've generated a lot of content and data about our customers, which makes learning faster, as well as implementing new ideas across all other parts of the product.

FUTURE: DS and ACCESSIBILITY

There is an interesting opportunity to further evolve EdTECH's DS, not only with new components, such as LISTS, DASHBOARDS, CARDS, FILTERS, among others, but also specific to mobile.
Accessibility is something that can be rethought for FOUNDATIONS, such as COLORS and FONT SIZES. Another point is a HANDOFF focused on the theme, with content hierarchy and component description.

FUTURE: AI and FUTURE

Working with data, we gain a lot from the possibility of generating knowledge. With this in mind, the next step is to generate prompt templates with basic information that help people on the team use AI tools in relation to our business.
